John Travolta Drops Extortion Charges

John & Jett Travolta

John Travolta has seen to it that the extortion charges against the people accused of threatening to release information surrounding his son’s death have been dropped! I am shocked.

These two fools tried to use his son’s death as a means of cashing in and that is never okay. So I don’t understand why John felt the need to say that it’s time to move on. Sure, they have a baby on the way and there’s no use in living in the past. But these people committed serious crimes.

According to TMZ:

The two defendants — Tarino Lightbourne and Pleasant Bridgewater — were charged with trying to allegedly get millions from John in return for keeping an ambulance waiver secret on the day Jett died.

John said, “The first trial in this matter resulted in a heavy emotional toll on my family. It was finally time to put this matter behind us … I concluded that it was in my family’s best interest for me not to voluntarily return to the Bahamas to testify a second time at trial.”

Understandable, but strange. If I were him, I’d want to see them fry. But that’s just me.
