John Mayer Tried To Smuggle A Knife Onto An Airplane

John Mayer must think he’s cool enough to get passed the rules of the TSA, because homeboy tried to board a flight, carrying a knife.

He was caught with the knife after passing through a security checkpoint at JFK Airport on October 19th.

Apparently he’s cool enough not to get arrested for trying to transport a weapon on an airplane, because the guard allowed him to pass the knife back to his chauffeur to return it to his home.

A source said, “John got busted carrying a pocketknife through security. But when the officer realized who it was, he got so starstruck that he let John go and gave him back the knife, so long as he didn’t take it on board.”

You know that wouldn’t have happened if it were DMX. He’d have gotten arrested for the 80th time.
