John Gibson of Fox News makes Heath Ledger’s death a punchline

Fox News host John Gibson has made a mockery of the death of Heath Ledger. I can’t believe that this guy is still on the air!
Here’s what went down Tuesday:
Fox News host John Gibson opened his radio show with funeral music, mocking the death of Heath Ledger by calling him a “weirdo” with a “serious drug problem.”
He then played the Brokeback Mountain quote, “I wish I knew how to quit you.” Gibson then quipped, “Well, he found out how to quit you.” He was laughing and then he played another Brokeback clip in which Heath said, “We’re dead,” followed by him mocking the dead actor by repeated “We’re dead.”
Yesterday, without offering any sort of apology, Gibson defended his previous comments by claiming that “for months and months and months,” his show has consistently made fun of the line, “I wish I knew how to quit you” from Brokeback Mountain. “I’m not giving that up,” exclaimed Gibson:
GIBSON: How many months did we live off that line, Brokeback Mountain?
BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN CLIP: I wish I knew how to quit you.
ANGRY RICH: Several.
GIBSON: I mean, it was going on for months and months and months.
BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN CLIP: Wooee, yeah!
GIBSON: I’m not giving that up.
You can call his show at 1-866-868-6861 or check out this site for the list of advertisers for the show. Maybe together we can all make a difference.
I know that he was probably doing that for a ratings spike because being controversial sometimes brings the spotlight on to you. This just takes the cake, though. A man is dead and this man is cracking jokes. Shameful!

Leave the guy alone. So Heath died…so what. Last time I checked this was a free country that is protected by free speech!

He is clearly a malignant narcissist. Don’t watch his show. Ignore him. Ignore his sponsors. He will be dumped in time.
