One of True Blood’s diggest stars, Joe Manganiello, who plays the big, bad, hot wolf on the show talked to Out Magazine for this month’s issue and he reveals a little insight as to what it’s like to get naked on screen. So far he has shown his cheeks on HBO’s True Blood series and he will be showing some more skin in his role on the movie “Magic Mike” who he co-stars with Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer, and Matt Bomer.
“All the guys he worked with were dead or in rehab, but it was the time of his life—this insanely destructive lifestyle, this club life. It was sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll…and getting paid to take your clothes off and have sex.”
“As far as the butt cheeks stuff goes, it just makes sense. It’s not gratuitous; it’s realistic. If you’re a werewolf and you transform, you lose everything and there are your butt cheeks. The show is a deconstruction of supernatural creatures. It’s not like other werewolf projects, where you magically reappear with tiny jean shorts on.”
I have to admit I didn’t really pay too much attention to the rest of the interview once naked and butt cheeks were mentioned. All I know is ass as long as Joe is naked my attention has been grabbed!
