Joe Jackson’s Record Label, Ranch Records, Already Taken

Joe Jackson is a douche, there’s no doubt about that in my mind.
Right after Michael’s untimely passing, this idiot went to the BET Awards and announced that he was taking on a new project, in the form of a record label. The label he was planning on launching is called Ranch Records. He then took the opportunity to hold a press conference on the matter, just a day later. It had only been a few days since his son died…only a few…
Besides the douchebaggery involved, there’s a hitch. There’s already a record label of the same name. Apparently a man who lives in Lufkin, Texas had the same idea — only in 2001.
Dixon Shanks, the label’s owner, says that that he went online to see what the fuss was about after receiving numerous calls from the media.
He said, “I had to go online to look up to see what all the brouhaha was about. As far as Ranch Records goes, they must not have done their research.”
And whether or not he plans to fork over the label name to the father of the King of Pop, he said, “No, no, we were here first.”
Ha! Take that jerkoff.
