Jewel has famously told fans that she wouldn’t ever get her teeth fixed because she had “period teeth”, meaning that she could play roles in period dramas and still look authentic. But that’s all out the window since she landed her first big movie role as June Carter Cash.
Lo and behold, it’s really Jewel with darker hair and perfectly straight teeth. It doesn’t even look like her at all, does it?
She tweeted, “Here I am as June in my trailer with her blue eyes and perfect teeth”.
She looks weird, doesn’t she? She’s almost unrecognizable here. According to reports, the teeth are just snap-ins, so she will still look like her old self as soon as she’s done filming. A good actress can transform for any role, so we’re sure she’ll be the best June she can be.
Perhaps someone should’ve called her to portray Liz Taylor? Ha.
