According to reports, Simpson is trying to get Britney Spears to join her vision of a Laverne & Shirley-like sitcom.
A source says, “Britney seems genuinely interested in working with her. She’s said they’ll talk further when she finishes her Circus tour. And Jessica wants to prove to the world that she’s a talented, funny actress, not just some silly airhead.”
This must be Papa Joe’s brainchild, because Jess isn’t smart enough to have thought this up on her own.
