This just has to be the saddest news I’ve ever had to report. Apparently, Jessica Simpson has had to buckle down and purchase her own engagement ring. Boy this Eric Johnson guy must think that he totally has it made. He doesn’t have to work, he quit school and he just mooches off of Jess. Poor thing, love really is blind, isn’t it?
Even though the couple hasn’t really been dating long, she’s reportedly already telling friends that they’re going to get married. Talk about a stage five clinger!
A source reports that Jess has already purchased herself a $50,000 three carat emerald cut diamond engagement ring. Eric was said to be worried that he doesn’t have the money to sustain a future with her, but she showed him that she can be used love conquers all.
So basically her message is that she has enough money for the both of them, so she’s not worried about that. She just loves him because he doesn’t care about how big she’s gotten throughout the years. Ahh, acceptance has its price.
