When Jessica Biel was only 17-years-old, she posed semi nude for Gear magazine. She did the photoshoot in an attempt to get out of her contract for 7th Heaven, and it definitely worked. I’m not sure why she’s bringing this up now, but she says that she regrets her decision to pose nude, and has grown from the experience.
She says, “That photoshoot was just a really bad decision on my part and I got myself involved with people who weren’t thinking about me and were instead thinking about what kind of a story they could get out of it. I learned a whole lot from the experience, so it was definitely a blessing in disguise.”
I’m trying to figure out why it wasn’t illegal for her to pose like that at such a young age. It was only eight years ago and I’m guessing that the laws surrounding this sort of activity haven’t changed much. I don’t remember any real fuss about this photoshoot, so maybe she’s trying to make us remember? Not sure what’s going on here. Is she trying to further her acting career by making us aware that these photos exist?
