Jesse Metcalfe was hospitalized after he fell from a second-story balcony in Monaco on Sunday. He was in Monaco to help host the World Music Awards, where he replaced Lindsay Lohan. He was sitting on the ledge of a balcony when he fell backwards and fell 30 to 40 feet. His rep said that he suffered no long term damage. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he had an X-ray and brain scan. He was subsequently discharged on Monday.
He is suffering from some restrictive leg movements, but most of all, he was given a clean bill of health.
His rep added, “Tp have fallen that distance and not have any major injuries was a miraculous escape. It was a very scary experience for him and those of us who saw him. It was a nasty fall. He was found face down on the floor. It could easily have been fatal.”
Was alcohol the culprit? His rep said that he only had a couple of glasses of champagne after hosting the show. It’s good to know that he’s still alive and on the D-list.
