Jennifer Lopez was recently spotted wearing some mega huge bling on her engagement ring finger, prompting gossips everywhere to wonder if she and Casper Smart were planning to take the plunge. They’ve been dating for a year now, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
She was photographed in Paris wearing the new ring, and we’ve all started wondering if she had gotten engaged. She has already had to shoot down engagement rumors earlier this year because of a similar ring situation. So, it makes sense that she’s doing it again.
Jennifer and Casper are not engaged at the moment and, as one source put it, they are “not even close”. The source said that the bauble is nothing more “than a pretty ring.”
The source said, “He can’t afford that ring. This ring could just be for their anniversary. She’s in the middle of her tour and her manager doesn’t want her distracted. He wants her to focus, and an engagement would distract her too much.”
Besides, who would want a ring that they would have to pay for themselves? Ha!
