In case you missed the show last night, both Jennifer Lopez and Adam Lambert took a tumble at the American Music Awards.
J-Lo was performing her new single, “Louboutins”, when she climbed a stairstep pyramid of men and jumped down, only to land on her tush. She recovered at lightning speed, but everyone had noticed.
She went on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this morning to say that it was all part of the choreography and that she meant to do that. Sure she did.
Not to be outdone, Adam Lambert put on an ultra racy show for his debut awards show performance. He had mock fellatio, boy kissing, and girl fondling. All of that, while managing to endure a slight tumble, which he worked into his performance. He tucked and rolled, and recovered quite well.
Both performances were said to have been edited out for the West Coast re-broadcast. I’ll leave this by just saying I hate censorship. It was silly of them to take out parts of the show, no matter the reasoning. J-Lo’s performance was edited to prevent her from further embarrassment, and Adam’s was edited for its raciness. Grrr.
