Jamie Lynn Spears is planning on going the way of Jessica Simpson and is planning a career in country music. What’s up with all these celebs thinking they have talent and want to sing about losing your wife, truck, and dog?
While Britney is trekking about in support of “Circus”, her little sister has decided to become the next star of country. We’ll see how long that lasts. Maybe Jamie figured she’d never be successful with a career in pop like her big sister and she wants to become a star in her own right.
I dunno, I’d have to hear her sing to make any sort of judgment. A source reveals that we may be able to hear something from her soon, as she “has been quietly working on a country album since last fall.”
Another insider says that someone in the Spears camp is “trying to get Jamie Lynn a record deal.” She was reportedly recording demo tracks in Nashville, but still has yet to get in with a label.
Jamie Lynn says, “I’ll probably do a lot of acting first, then go to singing, but I am going to definitely sing someday. So when I do start singing, buy my album!”
Yep, you know that’ll be the first thing on my list of things to do, right?
