Jamie Lynn Spears’ Decoy, Adessa Eskeridge, is suing LAX

Adessa Eskeridge was minding her own business when she disembarked from a plane at LAX last September. Police at the airport snatched her up and used her as a decoy to deflect attention from Jamie Lynn Spears.

Now, Eskeridge is suing the airport’s police department saying that they used her as a decoy without her permission. Her attorney says she was “not given any details as to the nature of the task or the potential danger involved. She simply followed the instructions of the police as most good citizens would do.”

She alleges that LAX police didn’t want to subject Spears to the usual crush of paparazzi waiting, who’d likely push and shove her, so they used Eskeridge instead so that Spears could make a safe getaway. Eskeridge’s attorney says they “instead decided that Ms. Eskeridge was not important enough to give the same protections to.”

Her lawyer also claims that she was “never informed that she’d be mobbed by the paparazzi, that she would be in fear of her well-being, that her picture would be taken and that video of her would be all over the internet.”

As a result, she says that she’s suffering from great humiliation. She’s reportedly suing for $2 million in damages.
