Is Macaulay Culkin hooked on heroin and oxycontin? That’s the question posed by the National Enquirer in their latest issue. Recent photos of the former child star show him looking thin and pasty and always carrying around a Red Bull, giving way to the obvious conclusion that he might be addicted to some powerful painkillers.
According to the tabloid, Macaulay regularly shoots up heroin and is abusing oxycodone and has even almost overdosed on one occasion. Even though Macaulay’s legal team insists that he doesn’t use drugs or spend thousands on prescription painkillers.
The tabloid revealed that the actor spends up to $6,000 per month on the drugs and gets high while spending time alone in his apartment-turned-drug den. The magazine goes on to state that his drug use has been at an all time high since ending his relationship with Mila Kunis.
A source close to Macaulay said, “Macaulay Culkin is hooked on drugs and it’s killing him! He’s been hooked for a year and a half, and his drug of choice is either heroin or oxycodone. Mac is surrounding himself with junkies and lowlifes. It’s a real tragedy.”
Another pal said that they witnessed his drug use and his friends are worried for him. The pal said, “Macaulay Culkin is surely dying. He’s addicted to heroin, oxycodone, Percocet and Vicodin. I have witnessed his drug taking, which has escalated over the past year and a half to the point where he needs rehab now, he could be dead in six months.”
The pal added, “It should have been a wake-up call, but it didn’t seem to have any effect on him. Mac is still partying hard. I pray that he finds the courage and strength to clean up before it’s too late.”
Let’s hope that these reports are not true, I would hate to have to write up his death here.
