Ice-T was arrested this morning for driving on a suspended license and not wearing his seatbelt.
His wife, Coco, tweeted about the incident, saying, “Yes,Ice was arrested this morning but we don’t know what the hell for!He’s been released..We got pulled over for not wearing seatbelts.”
It seems that she doesn’t know that her statement there was a complete oxymoron. She said that she doesn’t know why he was arrested, but they got pulled over for no seatbelts. Hmmm…
Later, she tweeted, “I believe when the cop saw Ice he immediately had a hard-on for him & he wanted 2 take him in for something,anything!He was released already.”
Yes, that totally explains it! Who knew? But seriously, that small traffic violation was not nearly enough to warrant an arrest, so it stands to reason that the twerp cop was just looking for a reason. It’s a good thing that Ice-T did the grown up thing and took responsibility. Not really. He tweeted the cop’s name and badge number and cussed him out.

Be wary of taking the NYPD’s word. They love to harass people over nothing, and database errors are not uncommon. Btw, I think he’s done the public a HUGE disservice (making millions) portraying these cops as good, and now it’s come back to bite him. Sadly his SVU show is a complete 360 from the truth. Google “police crimes” or “police misconduct statistics” to see what those who supposedly protect and serve are all about. Here’s what a REAL SVU cop did recently:

Far worse then any stupid traffic violation.
