Hulk Hogan was previously suing his former best friend Bubba the Love Sponge, along with his wife Heather Clem and the website Gawker.com for posting the video of his sex tape. Now, we’ve learned that Hulk has officially settled with Bubba.
He is still currently pursuing his lawsuits against Heather and Gawker now that he has worked things out with Bubba. The terms of the settlement with regard to his case against Bubba have not been made public, but we have learned that a public apology/retraction was part of the deal. Bubba released a statement earlier claiming that Hulk had nothing to do with the release of the tape.
He said, “It is my belief that Hulk is not involved, and has not ever been involved, in trying to release the video, or exploit it, or otherwise gain from the video’s release in any way.”
He added that he has committed himself helping Hulk overcome the rest of the legal battles that lay ahead of him. He also pledged to help find whoever is responsible for the taping of the footage and its subsequent leak onto the internet.
