Howard K. Stern has turned himself in yesterday along with two other doctors, for giving Anna Nicole Smith tons of prescription medications, which may have been the culprit in her untimely death. The doctors, Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich gave the massive amounts of pills to Stern, who passed them on to Anna Nicole. I knew that douchebag was in deep with regard to her death.
The trio were each charged with three felony counts of conspiracy and several other charges with regard to fraudulent prescriptions.
According to the L.A. District Attorney’s Office, the prescriptions were issued between 2004 and 2007 and were in the thousands. Attorney General Jerry Brown said in a statement, “These individuals repeatedly and excessively furnished thousands of prescription pills to Anna Nicole Smith, often for no legitimate medical purpose.”
Stern and Kapoor both surrendered last night and posted $20,000 bail. Eroshevich is expected to surrender to authorities by Monday.
Of course Stern denies that he did anything illegal. But I have to wonder, when are they going to start investigating Daniel’s untimely death? Something wasn’t right with either case from the beginning, but I’m glad that they are finally doing something about it.
