Spice Girl Geri Halliwell surprised the family of 14-year-old patient Jessica Knight when she popped in to see her. Jessica was horrifically attacked being stabbed thirty times and suffered a stroke as a result of her injuries.
When Ginger Spice visited the girl, she had not moved at all previously. Geri then did what she does best, she sang to the young attack victim. After singing, Jessica began to move her arms and legs. She awoke just 24 hours after the celebrity visit, with no recollection of it. Her mother had to show her a concert wristband that Geri had left behind for her to believe she was actually there.
So I guess Ginger has the “spice” to cure comas? Anyways, it was a touching story. Kudos to Geri for helping where she could. That just rocks.
