Gabourey Sidibe’s Mother Bashes Howard Stern

When Howard Stern trashed Gabourey Sidibe for being a big girl, all heck broke loose. People came out of the wood work to agree and disagree with the shock jock.

Now, her mother, Alice Tan Ridley, has a few words for Howard. She said, “Get a life! He can see, you can see, I can see Gabby is a big girl. She’s a big woman, so what’s wrong with that? She’s not like everyone else in the world. I don’t see him giving jobs out to anybody, so why should we care what he says? He might not hire her, but someone else will.”

She’s so right, too. Gabby was fabulous in Precious and I think she’ll do well in Hollywood. Howard doesn’t know everything and he can’t predict the future.
