Ellen DeGeneres questions Mariah Carey on the pregnancy rumors

The rumor of the day is that Mariah Carey is pregnant by hubby Nick Cannon. I am starting to believe it now, just because of the trick Ellen DeGeneres pulled in an attempt to get the truth out of her.

In talking with Mariah, Ellen said, “People are saying that you’re pregnant.” To which Mariah responded, “No, that’s okay.” Ellen told her that she didn’t have to answer that and then tries to get Mariah to toast to her not being pregnant with a sip of champagne. When offered the flute, Mariah declines, offering that it’s “just fattening. That’s not champagne. You can’t have it on TV.” Mariah added, “I can’t believe you did this to me, Ellen, this is peer pressure.”

Mariah then offered up the lamest excuse ever for not wanting to take part in the toast, saying, “It’s too early for me. I only drink after 3 p.m.!”

Ellen then declared that Mariah is pregnant, but Mariah shot her down by saying that she’d let us know when they’re going to have a family.”
