Dr. Phil McGraw says Britney Spears’ hospitalization is a good thing

Dr. Phil has already enraged the Spears family by speaking out after his visit to Britney Spears at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Lynne Spears had said that Dr. Phil was not invited to make her daughter’s breakdown a public spectacle. He then apologized for speaking about Britney Spears publicly and said there were never any plans hatched to have Britney appear on his show.

A Spears spokesperson said that Dr. Phil had violated their trust by speaking out on Britney’s condition on January 4th. That didn’t stop the opportunist! He went on The View today to discuss her previous hospital visit and said it was simply a means to “start a low-key dialogue that might make her open to seeking help.”

He also revealed that he knows nothing more about Britney’s condition than what has already been reported. Then why are you talking to the ladies of The View? You’re going on and on about something that is none of your business.

He obviously hasn’t been in contact with anyone in the Spears family because they rightfully don’t trust him. He’s just been a media nuisance at this point.

He also backpeddled about Britney’s first hospitalization saying that he would not disclose what took place. Maybe he should’ve taken that position in the first place?
