Dr. Conrad Murray Charged In Michael Jackson’s Death

Dr. Conrad Murray has FINALLY been charged in the death of Michael Jackson! I thought this day would never come. Seriously, didn’t it seem like the authorities were jerking us around with charging him? But alas, it’s true.

The doctor was charged with involuntary manslaughter in the June 25th death of the King of Pop. According to the criminal complaint, he “did unlawfully, and without malice, kill Michael Joseph Jackson….in the commission of an unlawful act, not a felony; and in the commission of a lawful act which might have produced death, in an unlawful manner, and without due caution and circumspection.”

If he gets convicted, he can expect to serve a sentence of up to four years. Yes, that’s it. FOUR years for killing a legend. He wasn’t paying attention and killed a man loved by many and yet his punishment is so far less severe than the crime.
