Dennis Quaid’s twins involved in overdose by hospital

According to reports from TMZ, Dennis and Kimberly Quaid’s twins, who were born on November 8th, suffered an overdose of Heparin. Apparently, the doctors were only supposed to use 10 units of the medicine, but grabbed the wrong dose and gave the babies 10,000 units.
From TMZ:
The drug is used to flush out IV lines and prevent blood clots. We’re told one dose was given on Sunday morning, another on Sunday evening.
We’re told late Sunday night, both babies started to “bleed out.” Both babies are now at Cedars in the neo-natal intensive care unit where we’re told they are stable.
I’m sure they are scared. Please keep the Quaid family in your thoughts and prayers and respect their privacy during this trying time.
Get well soon Thomas and Zoe!
