Dennis Quaid got off lucky last night. After partying it up at Philippe with his wife and friends, Dennis trucked it out to the car. Behind the wheel, he put the key in the ignition, and then he was stopped by a kind cop. The officer advised Dennis to get out of the car and take a taxi home.
Dennis and his group emerged from the club, obviously intoxicated when the valet pulled up with his SUV. Dennis crept into the vehicle and got behind the wheel. He put his foot on the brake when a cop rolled up.
The officer, not wanting to be a douche, told Dennis to get out of the vehicle and allowed him and his group to wait inside of the restaurant for a cab to arrive.
He needs to send the LAPD a fruit basket or something. They saved him some drama.
