“Designing Women” actress Delta Burke showed up at an airport in Los Angeles in a wheelchair, confirming the rumors that she had been involved in some sort of freak accident.
The accident took place in a hotel bathroom, to which she says, “I felt myself falling and I didn’t want to hit my head on the toilet because I did not want ‘toilet bowl’ in my obituary listed anywhere.
She slipped in the tub, injuring her back in the process.
Her sense of humor is not in the toilet, though. She told the lurking paparazzi, “This is my Elizabeth Taylor pose.” Then she added, “You got me without any makeup on!”
