D.B. Sweeney has just angered the Twi-hards into becoming relevant once more. He has a long IMDB page, which lists vast movie and television appearances, but he has just made himself known to the newest generation of Twilight fans and Twitter users.
After watching Robert Pattinson’s appearance on The Daily Show, D.B. decided to throw himself into the relationship drama between Rob and Kristen Stewart. He tweeted, “Just saw Pattinson on #DailyShow trying to figure out what took k-stew so long to look around with this douche astride her. #holytwit.”
Obviously, this has angered the Twilight gods who have sent their numerous minions to Twitter to take D.B. on. One fan said, “I hate you. Do not mess with Rob” and “don’t talk crap about Rob. Sick low life. He’s never done anything to you. I hate you.”
In addition to that, D.B. received a small barrage of hate-filled messages from fans of the vampire franchise. It’s the most attention that he’s received in many years. Seriously, if we hadn’t shown you a photo of him, would you have recognized him by his name alone? Kudos to him for the first lesson on famewhoring.
