CSI star Gary Dourdan was arrested for suspicion of possession of heroin, cocaine, ecstasy, and prescription drugs yesterday.
The cops found Gary in his car, asleep, with his car parked on the wrong side of the street at 5am in Palm Springs.
The officer described Dourdan as “disoriented and possibly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs,” according to a statement by the Palm Springs Police Department.
“The officer subsequently located suspected cocaine, heroin, ecstacy, miscellaneous prescription drugs, and paraphernalia,” the statement continued.
He was carted off to jail in Palm Springs, but later posted $5,000 and was released.
I could probably make a ton of forensic jokes about the fingerprints on the baggie of drugs or pill bottles, but I have to wonder what gave the police probable cause to search his vehicle?
Were Gary Dourdan’s rights violated?
Dourdan was then taken to a jail in Palm Spring but posted $5,000 bail and was released at 10:30 a.m.
His rep could not immediately be reached for comment.
