Doug Hutchison and Courtney Stodden got married when she was only 16-years-old and he was 51, so you know that this was going to be a trainwreck from the word “go”. After the teen bride thing, we thought that she was doing it for the quasi-celebrity status and he was doing it because he’s a freak who chases super young girls. Still, they’ve been trying to milk it for everything they possibly could…So it’s no surprise that someone finally bit and decided to put them on TV.
According to reports, Doug and Courtney have agreed to take part in a reality show called Couples Therapy. Why? Likely it’s for the money and the furthering of their famewhoring cause. What they’re telling people is that they are going on the show to work out their marital issues.
A source said, “Doug and Courtney have acknowledged there are obvious problems in their relationship because of their age difference and the notoriety they’ve gotten because of their relationship.”
On the VH1 show, they will appear alongside four other couples who will all receive intense relationship counseling. Famewhore move? Or is she leading up to a divorce from this old fart?
