Colin Farrell Could Have Died Like Heath Ledger

Heath Ledger, as you all know, passed away at such a young age in 2008 due to a combination of drugs in his system. It was a very sad turn of events, considering that he had such a promising future and had so much talent.

When he passed, three actors were asked to fill his role in The Imaginarium Of Dr. Parnassus, Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell.

Colin said that he was overcome with emotion at Heath’s funeral, because he not only felt a tinge of survivor’s guilt, but that he also felt that it could have been him lying in the casket.

He said, “I felt this could’ve been me. I wouldn’t describe it as survivor’s guilt, but yes, that came into it a little bit. It makes you ask some questions about yourself.”

I’m glad that he took something away from that tragedy and has re-evaluated where he stands in life.
