We’re not that far into the third season of The Voice and we’re already hearing news of a shakeup from the coaching panel. If you’re a fan of the show, then you must be tuning in for the witty banter between the judges. They trade barbs left and right in order to get people on their teams. Well, Christina Aguilera isn’t feeling it anymore. But fret not ladies, we will always have Adam Levine!
The network has already announced that Christina will be leaving the show — along with Cee Lo Green. Christina will be leaving to promote her new album Lotus, while Cee Lo will be taking time off to work on some new music.
To take their vacant spots in the rotating chairs will be Shakira and Usher. The chairman of NBC Entertainment said, “We are thrilled to welcome Usher and Shakira to The Voice. The addition of these popular iconic artists continues the tradition established by Christina, Cee Lo, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Doing two back-to-back cycles of this show requires a tremendous amount of time, and we are happy to accommodate the commitments made by Christina and Cee Lo.”
