Last week, “winning warlock” Charlie Sheen threw his Two And A Half Men replacement, Ashton Kutcher, under the bus by saying that he sucks on the show. It was kind of funny, just because he was so right. Since Ashton has taken over the show, the internet has given him a resounding “you suck”.
Charlie was using his Men character’s likeness to promote his new show and that angered the Warner Brothers head honchos. They issued a cease and desist letter to the actor and he took it out on Ashton. At the time, he said, “I’m tired of lying … I’m tired of pretending the show doesn’t suck … I’m tired of pretending Ashton doesn’t suck.”
Now perhaps the drugs have worn off, because Charlie is issuing an apology to Ashton for his comments. He wrote this letter to Ashton:
“Dear Ashton,
My bad.
I was disrespectful to a man doing his best.
I got excited and I threw you into the crossfire, but the rest of my statement I stand behind. You however, deserve better.
Safety in your travels good sir.
CS”
Should he have to apologize for speaking the truth? The writing on the show is poor. Have you seen the plotlines surrounding Walden Schmidt? They are awful. Was Charlie right? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
