Carrie Underwood & Michael Phelps planning a quiet first date

Michael Phelps was said to be “over the moon” when he found out that Carrie Underwood thinks he’s cute. Awww, how sweet. Too bad the poor girl needs to have her eyes examined. This guy always has his mouth open when he smiles and that’s just not attractive to me. Good for her, though, if that’s what she’s into. I just find it hard to wrap my brain around the fact that she went from hottie Tony Romo to Michael Phelps. Weird.

Sources say that the couple were texting each other all throughout the Olympics while he was in Beijing and they are planning their quiet first date near Carrie’s home in Nashville, Tennessee.

Michael has said that he hopes there won’t be too much eating going on in their date, though. He says, “I’m not so sure you’d want to see me eat! It might not make a great first impression.”

I hope they hit it off. At least he seems like he’s very down to Earth and easy to talk to. That alone eclipses looks, if you ask me.
