Britney Spears sang to L.A. Reid on last night’s episode of The X Factor in order to help the music mogul celebrate his birthday. She got a cake with Demi Lovato and brought it in with her boyfriend Jason Trawick to sing Happy Birthday to L.A. It was cute!
For all of those haters out there who have made comments about Britney not being able to sing live, suck it. She sings great live and it was a sweet gesture.
The episode aired last night, but it was filmed when L.A. turned 56-years-old on June 7th. She presented the cake along with an unidentified amount of candles to celebrate his birthday during the show’s Kansas City auditions. He said, “They don’t have enough candles for my age.”
After the joke, he told Britney, “You’re the sweetest in the world, oh my God, thank you.”
Simon wasn’t there for the celebration because he was out sick. He was replaced by his long-time friend Louis Walsh. It was a really cute thing for Britney to do, don’t you think?
