Britney Spears & Mel Gibson meet up at the cigar bar

Britney Spears and Mel Gibson’s strange friendship continued following their fun getaway in Costa Rica last month, when the odd couple were spotted at the Havana cigar lounge, yesterday.

They spent almost three hours talking at what appeared to be a business meeting at the members-only club.

The two tried to avoid a paparazzi frenzy by arriving in separate cars, while the majority of patrons were enjoying the Lakes game.

Britney left with a business associate and her bodyguard and Mel stayed at the bar for another hour.

I never thought I’d see the words “Britney” and “avoid paparazzi” in the same sentence. Daddy must be working wonders on her.
