Britney Spears’ lawyer asks to delay her drivers license case again

I’m surprised that this case hasn’t been swept under the rug yet. Britney Spears scraped a car last August in a parking lot where she got out of her Mercedes to check on her own car. She was cited due to the fact that, at the time, she did not have a valid California drivers license.

Britney Spears’ lawyer J. Michael Flanagan has asked the judge overseeing the case to delay the upcoming trial for a second time. He was granted an extension to work on the case in January and the judge issued a renewed trial date of September 18th, with Britney having to appear on October 15th. Flanagan is requesting the delay due to Britney’s father Jamie still being in charge of her estate and her lack of ability to participate in her own defense.

It just goes to show you that things won’t always go away even if you try to throw money at it. She has since gotten her license, so I don’t see what the big deal is.
