Britney Spears is now under a permanent conservatorship

Lawyers involved in the Britney Spears conservatorship case have asked the court commissioner to make her conservatorship permanent. The original temporary conservatorship was slated to end on December 31st. Britney’s lawyers did not protest the extended ruling. While it’s not likely that the conservatorship will be forever, it will aid in her attempts to regain custody of her children.

The commissioner didn’t want to keep granting more and more temporary conservatorships, thus the ruling makes it easier for them to just lift it when she is mentally capable of handling her own affairs.

Under the permanent conservatorship, a medical team will supervise Britney’s career to ensure she does not compromise her mental health.

I’m glad to see Britney going out and doing public appearances and going out on tour. She seems like she’s getting back to her regular old self again.
