Britney Spears will have to return to court next month to revisit the case against her for driving without a valid driver’s license. The trial was originally slated to being in January, but Britney caught the crazy back then, so it was delayed.
Judge T.K. Herman issued the new trial date yesterday, which is now set as October 15th.
This whole thing goes back to Britney scraping someone else’s car last August, where she got out and checked her own car, but not the damage on the other. She eventually made nice with her victim, but the matter remains that she was still driving without a valid California driver’s license. At the time of the car-nicking, she only had a permit from Louisiana.
I would think that they would probably toss this one out, since she has already obtained her license. Unless, of course, they want to make an example out of her.
