I think we can all agree that Bobby Brown is a douche to the Nth degree. I have to believe that he should take *some* responsibility with regard to Whitney Houston and her drug problem. Even if he didn’t get her into drugs, per se, he didn’t exactly kick her butt into rehab, either. He’s a douche. He acted like a total douchebucket at her funeral and has defended his douchebag decision to perform a concert on the same day of Whitney’s funeral. Douche.
When speaking with Ellen DeGeneres, Bobby defended his decision to perform that night, saying that is what the late singer would have wanted. Playing the devil’s advocate here, I can totally understand the need for him to want to work and earn money. But his former wife and child’s mother passed away. Surely his fans would have understood if he wanted some time off, right?
Bobby said, “I was in Mississippi performing and I got the call. Of course, I tried to get a flight. Tried to rent a jet. Whatever I had to do, but it was impossible. So I knew the best thing that she would want me to do is perform. You know, we are performers. That’s what we did. That’s what we do. And she would want the best for me.”
