Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson became engaged on the season sixteen finale of The Bachelor, but have since ended their engagement.
They were “engaged dating” for nine months, but Ben has confirmed reports that they have, in fact, gone their separate ways. Apparently they couldn’t find a way to manage their relationship and thus, decided to call it quits on their short-lived romance.
He chose Courtney out of 24 other women on the show, which ended with him down on one knee in Switzerland. After the show, the duo didn’t see each other until the After The Final Rose show aired. At that time, he asked her to marry him once more and she accepted.
Confirming the split to People magazine, he simply said, “It’s true.”
On his Twitter page, he said, “Welp, another weekend ahead and there is so much going on in San Francisco. I can’t even begin to tell you how crazy of a weekend it’s going to be.”
