Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt donated $8 million to charity in 2006

Sources say that superstar couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were very generous in 2006. And that’s a total understatement.

The couple donated a total of $8 million to charity throughout 2006, with Brad giving $4,402,317, and Angelina donating $4,123,613.

According to records for 2006, their organization, Make It Right handed out $2,367,935, including $1 million to both Doctors Without Borders and to the Global AIDS Alliance.

They also gave $137,935 to the Namibia Red Cross Action Program, $100,00 to the Daniel Pearl Foundation, $100,000 to Global Green U.S.A. and to the Epidermolysis Bulloma Medical Research Foundation.

In addition to that (if that wasn’t enough), $20,000 went to an art park in Los Angeles, as did separate $5,000 donations to two orphanages that Jolie had visited.

Wow. They are very generous to their causes. Great humanitarian deeds!
