It’s a sad, sad day when we have to say goodbye to one of the great actors of our time, so it’s with sorrow that we announce the passing of TV legend Andy Griffith. This is the man who made us all feel as if we wanted to live in Mayberry and afterward, a lawyer because of his show Matlock.
Earlier this morning, Andy was rushed to the hospital near his home in North Carolina. It was around 7AM when he was taken via ambulance to his Roanoke Island home, but the details surrounding his illness are still unclear.
Later, it was revealed that Andy had passed away in his home. So sad for anyone who grew up during the time that his shows were extra popular. He really knew how to bring the laughs and was an all around great guy. He will be missed. So long, Andy, and thanks for all of the memories. RIP.
