Amy Winehouse has been taken to the hospital

Amy Winehouse’s father Mitch has confirmed that Amy has spent a night in a hospital and was put on a drip.

He said that it was needed to rehydrate her after she’d been vomiting, as part of her drug treatment. He went on to say that she was moved to the hospital because her clinic didn’t have the sufficient medical facilities.

He also said that she was still under “medical supervision”, so he’s unsure if she’s going to attend the Grammy Awards.

The Grammys are February 10th, so that doesn’t leave Amy a whole lot of time to get the necessary medical care. I hope she stays where she can be helped until she is fully well again. The Grammys will always be there, if Amy doesn’t clean up her act, she may not be.
