Amy Winehouse has been cleared in husband’s perversion of justice case

Amy Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil is in London’s Pentonville Prison for attempting to “pervert the course of justice” by trying to buy his way out of assault charges. Fielder-Civil was in a bar in June, 2006, where he assaulted James King. King provided a statement and it’s being alleged that Blake offered to bribe him to change his statement.

Amy was suspected of offering to foot the bill for Blake’s goof-up. However, Amy is not being charged as DNA tests failed to provide any conclusive evidence to link her to the plot.

Even if they find that she did give her husband the necessary $400,000 to seal the deal, they don’t have sufficient evidence to bring charges against her.
