Adrian Grenier says he never dated Isabel Lucas

There was a lot of fuss surrounding Shia LaBeouf’s DUI and accident. What made the whole mess even worse was the fact that he had Adrian Grenier’s girlfriend, Isabel Lucas in his truck with him at 3am.

Then, the gossip was that Adrian broke it off with her after hearing that the two of them were spending time together at the ungodly hour. Now, Adrian is taking it a step further by saying that him and Isabel were never a couple.

It was rumored next that Isabel dumped Adrian for Shia, but he says that isn’t the case.

He says, “I thought it was funny that suddenly there was a big scandal, because since when were we dating? First of all, we don’t give each other those labels - it’s more subtle than that. She and I have a very open communication. We’re friends with common interests. Secondly, love and relationships are complicated. No one could ever get it right in a four-line sentence. I’m not married. We’re young in Hollywood and having fun.”
